Library of the Year's Online Library

What do you think of this.

I like the Virtual Reference Room concept(GVRL titles in there) and the Business section. I also like their terminology. It is understandable.

There's also a Flash version. Spiffy.

The terminology is short and sweet. Maybe "virtual reference" solves our problem of, Is it research? databases? homework?

They also combine their databases and outside weblinks. If we're redesigning the Recommended Websites and the databases page, why not try something different? Combine ours into a wiki, for example.

Definitely the right idea. Two quibbles: I don't like how far you have to drill down in some topics to get to the resources, and I would have included Ask-a-Librarian on this page. But I like that you can launch a catalog search with your keyword search terms from the page. Even cooler if you could have a feed of recent acquisitions in each subject area appear along with the electronic resources.
