Sorry, didn't report on that, did I? Yes, it was patron complaints, they were used to "databases" and thought we had eliminated them in the night. We thought about several solutions and decided to put the dreaded d-word back in at least for now.
I could well have missed the report, sorry. This might mean that we have been more successful in creating the brand "databases" then the common library-industry wisdom holds. Avoiding jargon is great but we shouldn't presume every word we use is jargon...
